Again to the blue

Three weeks later

Stella wrung out the rag and wiped the kitchen counter down another time. Happy with what she noticed, her onerous work had left Lacey’s dwelling tidy and smelling recent. Her thoughts raced as she thought ofher daughter and grandson. She missed their faces and was completely happy they had been returning, if just for a brief go to. The breeze blew her floral curtains, the scent of the salt air, balmy and heat filling the house with a familiarity. She tucked the rag into her pail and locked the door behind her. Shifting down the road, she made a left and headed in direction of dwelling. Whistling a tune, she realized that she was completely happy. “Oh, and I made certain your home is prepared for you. Spic and span, you deserve a correct homecoming. Hope you prefer it.” Stella waved and headed previous them and walked up the steps and into the home.

“I’ve missed my little home by the ocean, and Stella cleaned it up for us. That girl is a godsend.” Horst carried their baggage in, adopted by Philippe along with his duffle bag.

“Can I’m going to Johnny’s? I gained’t keep late, promise?” he wrote on his iPad and Lacey nodded.

“Have enjoyable, sweetie,and don’t be a trouble. Beback by dinnertime, please.” Philippe nodded, then tore out the door at full pace. Horst rubbed her shoulders.

“How are you holding up honey? Would you like tolie down, catch someneeded winks? I’ll care for dinner, I don’t wish to see you overdoing it.” She stifled a yawn and nodded.

“It would really feel good to sleep in my mattress, however now being so spoiled, I do know it’s notas gentle and durable as yours. Wake me in an hour, okay?” Horst locked his lips on hers and nodded. She wrapped her arms round him and kissed him again.

“Ifwe preserve going, I’ll neverlie down. There’s athousand issues I wantto do to your physique. Okay, I’m going…” Horst opened the bed room door, and she or he giggled when she noticed the tall vase of flowers subsequent to her mattress, alongside the lamp.

She moved previous Horst and picked up the golden lamp. Holding it to her chest, she closed her eyes and thought for a second, then whispered into the highest gap and gave it a fast kiss. Horst raised his eyebrows and glanced at her.
