Chapter 251 A Vouch And Strength
Arthur looked at a particular ping that was made by a rather major account.
<Agate E-sports Official: We have tested and tried @GreyWatcher’s guides and can vouch for the effectiveness. We look forward to more of them in the future>
“I guess they already started on their end,” Arthur said seeing the post as a smile lingered on his face.
On the contract that he had signed with Rain and the Agate E-sports team, mutual promotion in a positive tone was one of the conditions.
Plus it was something that took very little time to do and had basically no cost. As such it was very easy for them to do a single post mentioning Arthur.
And because the Agate E-sports team had their official account on the Grand Nexus forums, everyone would pay attention to them. Whenever they posted, many people would get notifications.nove/lb(1n
Even news companies would cover it and keep up with the workings of all E-sports teams. Every act that they did could result in something that could move a lot of money. As such paying attention to them was very important.
With the one ping from the Agate E-sports team mentioning him and promoting him, the number of people that trusted in his guides rose by multiple times. Which was what had resulted in the sudden spike in the revenue. What was even surprising though was the time it had taken for it.
‘The ping was just after I logged in yesterday. This means most of it was generated since last night…’ Arthur was surprised by the growth rate.
<Grey Watcher>
<Followers: 38,279>
“Even the number of followers has basically exploded.” Arthur looked at the number.
It was below 5000 the last time Arthur had checked. And in just one night it had increased by nearly thirty three thousand!
It was only a time before Arthur reckoned it would exceed a hundred thousand.
‘The revenue and followers will both grow with the increase in my posts and guides. Guess I gotta work hard and make more of them.’ Arthur thought to himself.
But before he could think any further, the notification stopped him.
>Player Arthur’s Hunger is at 5%!<
It was then that the feeling also hit him.
“Oh man… I haven’t felt that hungry in a while…” Arthur’s stomach panged with a desire for sustenance.
He didn’t know why he was feeling this hungry though, as his Hunger bar had never been this low when he woke up.
‘Now that I think of it, this is the lowest it has been so far.’ Arthur thought to himself and exited the Dream pod V3.
~hiss~
With a mechanical sound, the lid of the pod lifted and Arthur could get out.
“I don’t even feel like cooking in this state… I just need something to eat.” Arthur muttered to himself and looked at the shelves. ‘I got some cereal too, right?’ he recalled.
Arthur hadn’t eaten any cereal since he was more focused on eating ‘healthy’ meals. And as such, he had just ignored the sugary cereal.
<Non-Physical Stats>
Wisdom: F- -> F
Intelligence: F- -> F
Will: F- -> F

Looking at the stats, Arthur confirmed it.
“The strength stat increased… it is now F+!” Arthur exclaimed.
Arthur lightly clenched his fists, but couldn’t sense the difference directly. But seeing the effect first hand showed him that there was indeed a change.
It wasn’t just Strength either though. His wisdom, Intelligence and Will had all increased too, but the change brought upon by those stats was harder to perceive.
Then there was also the fact that the growth in strength was a lot greater than the other stats.
‘Of course, I increased my strength to 50 with my free stat points… this caused the real world stats to rise as well.’ Arthur thought to himself.
He also understood why the difference felt greater this time, unlike when it had increased from F- to F.
The difference was quite literally twice the stat points!
~Groan~
Arthur’s stomach ached with hunger once more, pulling him out of his thoughts.
“Ugh, I’ll eat first, think later,” Arthur said as he took out the box of cereal from the shelf.
Without even bothering to add it to a bowl, he simply tore the pack open and shoved a fistful of cereal in his mouth.
The sugary taste of the cereal filled his mouth, and was quickly swallowed down into his belly.
Arthur didn’t stop eating until he had finished the entire box.
>Hunger: 50%<
“Damn, even a full box barely filled it by 45%?” Arthur was now sure his hunger had increased.
Thankfully, this was more than enough for him to endure till he made proper breakfast.
“Guess I’ll have to make heartier meals from now on.” Arthur muttered and got to work.
Breakfast for the day ended up being four eggs, five sausages, and eight slices of bread along with a couple of glasses of orange juice.
It was twice the amount that Arthur would normally eat, but was enough to take his hunger bar to the max.
