“So…” Felix wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me into him.
“So?”
“I have so many nicknames for you.”
“Too many, some would argue,” I chuckle, knowing damn well that I am part of that ‘some’.
“There is Hellcat, Little Thief, my Heart, my Love—”
“Uh-huh. What’s your point?” He turns me in his arms and looks down at me with fire in his eyes.
“I am trying to find where Alina fits into all of it.”
“It doesn’t,” I say simply.
“But—”
“The last person to call me that was my father, and I would like to keep it that way. Plus, I am no longer that girl. If you call me that at any point, I will cut you from balls to throat.”
His large hands squeeze my hips and pull me more firmly into him.
“You know what your threats do to me!” he groans.
“Then don’t think of them as threats, but as promises instead,” I smile innocently.
“I love you,” he whispers, tucking a loose hair behind my ear.
“I love you, too.”
He groans and pulls me into a searing kiss in front of everyone. And I don’t care if they look. Because then they will finally see what it means to be properly owned.
The End
