Prologue – Hero

That was positively a lie, the lady thought. She thought that the boy in entrance of her was mocking her because the factor that he mentioned was far-off from what she perceived as ‘frequent sense.’

“Hahaha, don’t fear, don’t fear, you don’t have to be so anxious about it.”

Maybe mistaking the lady’s suspicion as nervousness, the boy let loose a gentle smile to calm her down. Nonetheless, the lady’s expression didn’t brighten up even a bit of. Like her environment, her expression was grim and darkish. The lady knew. Younger as she was, a mere third grader, she understood. Magic didn’t exist. ‘Hero’ was merely a fictitious idea.

“Consuming somebody’s ‘love’ is a chunk of cake!”

There was nobody that might heal her ‘damaged coronary heart’, the ache that tormented her coronary heart for therefore lengthy. If such being existed, then they’d be an actual hero, no less than for the lady.

And so, the lady, Miyama Aoi, met an actual hero this time.
