Thousands of questions flashed into his head but none of it seemed real. He tool heavy breaths, touch his nape and even pulled his hair.

He couldn’t accept that his beloved grandfather knew his death, and the painful truth was– he couldn’t save him except for granting his last wish.

“But I haven’t found yet the destined mate! A– and I can’t bear to live with someone who’s completely a stranger to me and even to all of our family!”

“Let your heart lead you to your true love, Sebastian…” Lord Solomon told him the truth. “But when the judgement comes, you need to choose between love and death.” he said behind his head.

He can’t bear to lose Sebastian but he knew he can defeat all his enemies because of the greatest love he felt for a good, destined woman.

Because of the heavy, intense feeling in between, Sebastian turned around him and kicked the floor devastatingly. He wanted to move slowly but he has no other choice but to grant Lord Solomon’s wish.

A long, deafening silence filled around the entire room. No one dared to speak even the powerful beast years ago as he knew what it felt like.

He scoffed once at least, reached for the glass of water and drank everything that soothed his body and soul.

“I know you like that girl named Halora. Your father once told me about her and how you acted that night.” he said in a hollow voice and certainties.

But it didn’t surprise Sebastian at all. He knee and had a feeling that his whole family sent a private, personal lookout inside and outside of thr campus about his businesses and whereabouts.

It made him feel embarrassed but he never wanted to deny Halora in front of the oldest beast in the family.

He smiled, walked closer to Lord Solomon and tapped his shoulders gently, “How did you know about her, Grandpa? As far as I remember, I never introduced her to you personally! How come that you sounded like you know and met her before.”

At that moment, Lord Solomon chuckled hardly as he failed to keep it. He waved his hand, touched his chest in awe.

He replied, “Why don’t you ask her on behalf of me, Sebastian? For sure she would always bow her head like she did the entire time I treated her at your restaurant the other day before all of these.”

“Y– you met… a– and treated her? Am I hearing things plainly?”

Sebastian looked at the old man confusingly as his heart filled with joy and fear. He imagined the exact scenario, the sweating face of Halora while Lord Solomon seated and sipped a cup of tea in front of her.

Lord Solomon replied, “What are you waiting for? Are going to stay here all night long and let Halora celebrate her birthday alone tonight?”

Right then, Sebastian got surprised that Lord Solomon even knew her birthday. He chuckled, covered his mouth in amusement and he suddenly ran into the old man and embraced him tightly.

“She’s one of the kind, young man. You shouldn’t waste a lot of time concealing your feelings.”

He gasped, smiled sweetly and he said, “Don’t worry, Grandpa. Tonight, I’ll make her my first and last girlfriend.”

Halora knew that he wanted to kiss her forehead but she didn’t want to expect more romantic, sweet moments with him.

And every time she remembered how awkwardly acted in front of Sebastian’s grandfather. That moment, she just hoped to be vanished on her seat but when he spoke to her with calmness, she knew that he was a good, old man.

She sighed, looked away from his deep, alluring gaze and suddenly came up with a new topic.

She said, “I… I have something to tell you!”

“And what is all about, My Lady?”

Sebastian moved even closer and closer to her face. It intimated her but at the same time it gave her entire system peace and an unexplainable emotion that she felt once in her whole life.

Until a mischievous smile flaunted on his lips, grabbed her head that almost took away her breath in amusement.

“Ummm…,” she stuttered while he moved his head closer to her scarlet face. “Y– your g– grandfather called me the other d– day and we… went to the restaurant you claimed that yours… last time!”

He shook his head, caressed her neck softly until his hands trailed off to her back. Sebastian was completely lost his mind, fortunately, she chuckled awkwardly that stopped him at the moment.

“He… treated me such delicious dishes and he told me how you grow up into a cool, good looking young man as what you are right now! And y– you know what, L– Lord Solomon talked a– about a girl that captured your heart after a long… long time–”

“Did he told you the girl’s name?” He chat her off but the truth was, he wanted to sealed her with a soft, passionate kiss but he remembered what kind of girl he was dealing with.

As his deep gaze electrified her system, Sebastian smelled the scent of her hair until he kissed it softly.

It felt like a dream came true after a long, foolish journey. They both felt the same level of energy as their body touched against each other.

Halora shook her head, tightened the grip of the flowers he gave. It was the end of concealing her true feelings and what ever happened, she was ready to be a brokenhearted highschool girl.

She gulped and she said, “Sebastian?”

But, the next words he said left her shocked and startled.

Sebastian knelt to the ground as he stared at her brown eyes. His eyes was filled with sincerity and affection, “Halora Chui, will you be my girlfriend?”

It surprised her to death that almost caused her a heart attack. Her knees trembled, as her eyes widened and remained in the same position.

She blinked her eyes countless times as she thought it was only part of a dream. “W– what did you s– say?”

With a sweet, genuine smile on his lips, Sebastian answered, “Will you be the campus bad boy’s girlfriend?”
